About
Council can only investigate or take action on stormwater drainage complaints where it relates to the flow of surface water coming from a structure on private property across the common land boundary onto another neighbouring property, and where specific criteria is met.
If this is not the issue, Council will be unable to investigate.
More information
You can find more information concerning stormwater issues on private properties, and when Council can investigate, on Council's website.
Submit a request
If possible, before you lodge a complaint, talk to the owner of the property when the stormwater is coming from and politely explain the issues you are experiencing. If this is not possible, or talking to your neighbour doesn't help, please use the below request link to raise a request.
Please note: You are strongly encouraged to provide your contact details in case we require further information in relation to your request. In some cases, if we have insufficient information, we will not be able to investigate.
Thank you for providing feedback.
