About
Ku-ring-gai local government area contains approximately 92 km of bushland interface with private properties.
In many locations, unauthorised dumping, extensions or encroachments from private properties on to Council-managed bushland reserves have significantly impacted the natural environment, public access, and Council operations.
Although individual incidents of dumping and encroachments may appear minor, their cumulative impact can significantly degrade large areas of public land.
Please note: If you notice pollution such as sediment, paint or chemicals in a local waterway, please contact us immediately. It is important to begin cleaning up pollution as soon as possible to limit their damage
