There are more than 25,000 dogs and cats registered as living in Ku-ring-gai. In some instances, Council is able to investigate matters relating to dogs and cats and/or provide information on the regulations and responsibilities of pet ownership. This form allows you to submit enquiries relating to:
- Pet registration and microchipping
- Issues with the online Companion Animal Register
- Desexing requirements
- Change of ownership or contact details
- Exemptions
- Legislation and regulation information
- Updating the Companion Animal Register when a pet has passed away
- Requesting inspection of ovals to ensure dog owners are following the rules
Please note:
- To report issues with barking dogs, please raise a Barking dogs request to have the matter investigated.
- To report issues with nuisance animals, including animal behaviour in public spaces, please raise a Nuisance animals request to have the matter investigated
